Foreword The Oakland Raiders did a fine job in their game against the Seattle Seahawks. They had a strong start. In the second quarter, there were some concerns, but overall they got more aggressive as the game went along. Thanks for the victory. It gives us a basis of hope for more victories when the regular season starts. Here is an article for review. Perfect the art of war on the football field and give the Raider Nation more victories. Remember, Hue Jackson said that the Oakland Raiders are supposed to win. Al Davis, too, said, "Just win, baby!" ...
Jason LaCanfora of the NFL Network has reported that TJ Houshmandzadeh of the Seattle Seahawks in on the trading block.
This should be music to the ears of Raider Nation, because Houshmandzadeh was under the tutelage of Raiders offensive coordinator, Hue Jackson, when he served as wide receivers coach for the Cincinnati Bengals.
One of the glaring holes for the Oakland offense right now is at wide receiver. Most are hopeful about the potential of Darrius Heyward-Bey, Louis Murphy, Jacoby Ford and Chaz Schilens (injured), but "The Housh" would give the Raiders an experienced pass-catcher to fill their leadership void at the ...
Matt Leinart's star-crossed college career vaulted him into the national spotlight as both a celebrity and a can't-miss NFL prospect.According to an Arizona Republic report, he might soon find himself out of a job just three years after the Cardinals drafted him 10th overall, ahead of both Jay Cutler and Aaron Rodgers.Even if he is released, Leinart probably isn't done quite yet in the NFL. But at this point, the odds are against him having much if any success as a pro quarterback. He certainly wouldn't be the first College Football star to flop in the NFL. Here's a look at ...
Oakland Raiders' head coach Tom Cable has begun the most difficult job any coach faces—telling players they are not going to be on the team anymore.I've been in a similar situation as a high school coach, but not with the same ramifications. The players I cut were not trying to feed their family with a job in football, and they were merely relegated to the junior varsity. They still had a chance to play and compete. The stakes are much higher in this case, and I do not envy Cable one, little bit.Several Raiders have already been cut. Fullback Chane Moline, ...
You might get tired of looking at the numbers, but it's good to know what has been going on with the teams that the Oakland Raiders will encounter.
One guy said these graphs look like the ones you see in sales. Well, maybe that's what we are trying to do, sell the idea of more victories.
We are encouraging the Oakland Raiders to study the situations carefully before they come up against their opponents. The charts are not difficult to understand. The chart in this article shows the data for 1978 to 2009.
A question could be asked. Have the Titans dominated the Oakland ...

Dear Adam Schefter,
I don't care if you heard Seabastien Janikowski just had a lap band surgery.
I don't care if you heard Richard Seymour's kid just got a D on a test.
I don't care if you heard Jason Campbell just named his new pet I Hate Snyder.
I don't care if you heard Darren McFadden is going star in 'The Wild Hogs 2'.
I don't care if you heard Tom Cable switched to DirecTv.
I don't care if you heard Al Davis got caught scouting a wide receiver that runs a 4.5.
I don't care if you heard Asomugha was planning to run for President.

In many ways, the Oakland Raiders are a rebuilt team.
In other ways, the Raiders are still in transition.
Just how much transition are they in?
That largely depends on the result of the battles for positions on the team. I expect Thursday's game against the Seattle Seahawks to be played hard because some of these battles may come down to it.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Raiders have interest in a possible trade for disgruntled Arizona Cardinal quarterback Matt Leinart.
If the trade happened, it would be three former first-round quarterbacks on the Raiders roster.
Leinart doesn't seem to fit what Oakland likes to do, so why would the Raiders be showing interest? Especially for a QB that has underperformed, yet still insists he should be a starter in the league and has a contract that goes vastly above his value next year. Plus, of all the offensive positions, quarterback seems to be set in stone for the Raiders.
Injury.
Last week Jason Campbell ...
According to Adam Schefter of ESPN (and they're never wrong), the Oakland Raiders, Buffalo Bills, and New York Giants have shown interest in quarterback Matt Leinart of the Arizona Cardinals.
The Cardinals have reportedly shopped the tenth overall pick from 2006, after coach Ken Whisenhunt designated Derek Anderson as the starter for the Cards.
The Bills have denied any discussions or inquiries for Leinart.
In Oakland and New York, Leinart would be further insurance behind starters Jason Campbell and Eli Manning, because the backups for each starter, Bruce Gradkowski and Jim Sorgi, continue to have injuries.
The Bills however, hypothetically need someone to challenge ...
The final cutdown looms large for those players on the roster bubble of all the teams in the league this week.Tom Cable said that for the Raiders there will be some very difficult decisions to make, unlike previous years. Whilst there will no doubt be one or two of those, many of the positions are set, if not necessarily as starters, but certainly as roster spots. So who will be in and who will be out for Oakland when the deadline comes this year?Begin Slideshow
