The Oakland Raiders had a chance to get to .500 and build some momentum for the second half of the season. Instead, they turned Philadelphia quarterback Nick Foles into a legend and suffered a 49-20 loss to the Eagles that may change how people view coach Dennis Allen’s team. Foles repeatedly smoked the Raiders defense to the tune of an NFL-record-tying seven touchdown passes. Oakland rarely got a hand on Foles or his receivers, allowing the Eagles to snap out of their offensive funk in a big way. The Oakland Raiders (3-5) were obliterated 49-13 by the Philadelphia Eagles (4-5) in a Week 9 blowout loss.  Game Analysis for the Oakland Raiders Pass Offense: Pryor attempted 41 throws and completed only 22. He finished the day with 288 yards and two interceptions. He was also sacked twice before leaving the game with an apparent leg injury. Then again, Beane has thrown the baseball world a curveball that seemingly comes out of nowhere—such as the team's decision to sign Cuban free agent Yoenis Cespedes before the 2012 season—so it's wise for A's fans to be prepared for anything. Keep it here for the most up-to-the-minute rumblings about the A's along with analysis and everything else ...
Through seven games, the Oakland Raiders are surprising a lot of people around the league, and it has been the play of their defense leading the way. It wasn't too long ago that the silver and black had a defense that struggled in slowing down even the weakest of opponents and really didn't give the team much of a chance from the outset of many games. In fact, the argument could be made that for the better part of the 2012 season, at least until the last four or five games, that's exactly what this unit was. Just one year later, and in ...
